Because water is essential to our needs, the Water Distribution Program provides round-the-clock emergency response. In fact, this is an area we consider to be very important and we take great pride in providing our customers round-the-clock service. All calls received after normal working hours, weekends, and holidays are addressed by one of our representatives.

The most common types of calls we respond to are turn-off calls. When a customer�s water line ruptures and they are unaware of how to turn their water off, customers call our emergency number and a representative is dispatched to assist them in shutting their water off. Followed by emergency turn-offs, calls associated with automobile accidents and hydrants or other water appurtenances have been damaged, are the second most frequent types of calls we respond to.
