The Water Distribution Program will respond to any Underground Service Alert (USA) we receive within the City’s boundaries. Underground Service Alert is a service provided to utilities and contractors working in public right-of-ways and private properties. The contractor or utility intending to dig can call and give a precise location where they will be digging. USA then notifies all utilities to mark their utility lines to avoid ruptures or costly disruptions in service. This service has prevented many serious injuries and death.
